The company is currently undergoing a dynamic rebrand and has ambitious growth plans. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Head of North American Marketing to spearhead their marketing and communications efforts, particularly focusing on live events.

 

Job Overview:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development in North America, the Head of North American Marketing will be instrumental in crafting and executing the marketing, branding, and communications strategy for our client’s live event services. This role is primarily focused on managing and promoting events within the United States, supporting growth objectives, and enhancing the brand’s market presence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Website Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to oversee website maintenance, perform minor updates, and report on analytics monthly.

- Content Creation: Work with internal teams and clients to develop videos and pictures that represent our client’s brand and image.

- CRM Management: Coordinate with the global team to streamline customer lists using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

- Event Management: Oversee the planning, promotion, and management of trade show booths and other events related to power and HVAC solutions for live events across the United States.

- Newsletter Production: Partner with the Chief of Staff to craft and distribute a monthly newsletter.

- Associations and Sponsorships: Engage with industry associations and manage sponsorships, both internally and externally.

- Leadership Support: Aid the leadership team and wider salesforce in communicating the company’s mission, values, and proposition to customers and prospects, with a focus on ESG and business accreditations.

- Brand Development: Implement new branding initiatives across various assets and act as a brand ambassador to maintain brand standards.

- Internal Communications: Develop and execute internal communication strategies to keep colleagues informed and engaged.

- Reputation Management: Manage the external reputation of the business, including PR and risk management.

- Social Media Strategy: Build and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy and content plan.

-Market Research: Research and understand target industries to identify promotional opportunities and effectively market the business.

- Literature Development: Collaborate with the sales group to create literature, pitch deck templates, and white papers.

 

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.

- Proven experience in a senior marketing and communications role, preferably in the live events industry or a similar field.

- Strong track record in managing marketing and communications activities, including customer marketing, internal communications, shareholder relations, and branding.

- Experience working with senior stakeholders up to CEO and Board level.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience managing external agencies.

- Proactive and independent work ethic with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of ESG initiatives and considerations is preferable.
