YOUR GOAL:

Creating and cultivating NEW business opportunities to boost revenue via cold calling, networking within the industry, and scheduling appointments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

- Sell our client's products and services to potential new customers.

- Prospect for, identify, and qualify potential sales opportunities.

- Network with industry affiliates to leverage your connections in pursuit of opportunities.

- Follow up on sales leads that come into the company for your territory or directed opportunity.

- Maintain timely and effective communication with clients throughout the sales cycle.

- Strategize the best approach for winning business in competitive situations utilizing the team.

- Prepare and maintain a sales pipeline as required.

- Consistently and accurately update ConnectWise daily.

- Prepare a weekly schedule for the VP of Sales by Monday morning of each week.

- Prepare and submit a weekly expense report at the beginning of each week.

- Manage an effective weekly schedule ensuring time is balanced properly.

- Communicate effectively within the company with timely and accurate information relating to customer engagement, sales, and pipeline data.

- Attend trade shows and conferences as directed and set up equipment.

- Preserve confidential and sensitive information both inside and outside the company.

- Follow all company policies and procedures.

- Maintain daily and weekly call numbers based on assigned metrics.

- Close business based on established quotas.

HOURS OF WORK:

Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours and/or off hours are required depending on the current task.

 

COMPENSATION: 

Salary plus commission. The company offers other benefits where applicable. Position is exempt.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum A.A.S. Degree. Knowledge of retail grocery a plus. Knowledge of computer operations helpful.
