Field Service Engineer
Overview: Our client is hiring a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team out of Scottsdale, Az. They’ve been in business since 2008 and specialize in location and inspection services. They utilize high-tech equipment and offer on-the-job training to every employee they hire.
Responsibilities
· Locates reinforcement in concrete using non-destructive testing through ground penetrating radar
· Write technical reports to explain to clients the locations of utilities: sewer, water, gas, electric, rebar, post tension cables and live conduit
· Maintain client relationships by providing high quality customer service
· Create and maintain relationships with on-site crews
· Oversee the collection of data using a variety of highly technical instruments on various project sites
· Responsible for the daily safe and efficient operation of Nondestructive Testing (NDT) equipment
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Engineering/construction fundamentals or a related field preferred
· Knowledge of apple products; i.e. Pages, Numbers, etc.
· Experience reading civil utility maps, schematics, and diagrams
· Dependable and reliable
· Must be comfortable working outdoors
· Must be comfortable talking to on-site contacts and passing out business cards
· Must be able to travel out of state at least 1 week per month
· Must have a good driving record
Additional Information:
· Compensation: $23/hr to $30/hr plus the ability to earn bonuses
· Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week, 8hr shift Mon-Fri
· Eligible to enroll in retirement plan after 1yr
